The 9th International Conference on Energy and Environmental Science (ICEES 2025), jointly organized by Chongqing Jiaotong University and Chongqing University, was successfully held in Chongqing from March 28th to 30th, 2025! Nearly 300 scholars, technical experts, and young students from universities, research institutions, and enterprises across multiple countries and regions, including China, Russia, Thailand, Mexico, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Japan, the United Kingdom, and South Korea, participated in the conference. Utilizing a combination of online and offline formats, they engaged in extensive academic exchanges focusing on technological innovation and application in the fields of energy and environmental science, jointly exploring cutting-edge research achievements and future development directions in related disciplines.

The conference officially opened on the morning of March 29th, presided over by Professor Mao Mingyong, Director of the International Office of Chongqing Jiaotong University. Professor Yang Shengfa, Vice President of Chongqing Jiaotong University, delivered the opening speech on behalf of the organizers. Professor Ding Yong from Chongqing University, serving as the Conference Chair, delivered the welcome address. The academic report session was chaired by Professor Yuan Yanping from Southwest Jiaotong University and Professor Ding Yong from Chongqing University. Distinguished keynote speakers included Professor Park Chul-soo from Seoul National University, South Korea; Professor Zhang Yinping from Tsinghua University; Professor Sun Cheng from Harbin Institute of Technology; Professor Feng Guohui from Shenyang Jianzhu University; Professor Meng Qinglin from South China University of Technology; and Professor Li Yuguo from The University of Hong Kong.
